EMA - “Neuromancer”

Makin a living off of takin selfies
Is that the way that you want it to be?
When they come and ask you it was
Only the thing that you’ve done for free

I know the way they pray and they blame
It’s been the same for ages and ages and ages

Ur makin a living off of takin selfies
Is that the way that you want it to be?
It’s such a narcissistic baby
It’s such a new millennial baby
Is it true?
Is it true?

You choose.

I might lose some fur
But I will survive
My Lucifer
But I will survive

'Cuz I know the way they shame
And they pay
It’s been the same for ages

Feel just like the Necromancer
Grew itself inside my brain/vein
Big and white and wide and it was
Pictures of ourselfs on the frame

You know you’ve got one too
And it knows more than you
About the things that you do
They know more of it than you do
About the things all that you do
They know more of it than you do
They know more about the things you do
They know more of it than you do

They know.

They know.

My Lucifer
But I will survive
I might lose some fur
But I will survive

They are AI.

Hello, Tumblr. See this thing?

It is the best goddamned thing you’ve seen all day.

Say hello to the Infinite Jukebox, an experiment in looping songs. See those curves cutting through the circle? What this bad boy does is analyze the song for similar beats and…

Works better with instrumental and electronic tracks, but a pretty cool idea.

'Ophiuchus' for Gallery Nucleus' 'Yesterday's Tomorrow'
The new zodiac symbol, constellation Ophiuchus, the man wrestling with the serpent. It’s a metaphor for our constant struggle with knowledge and the unknown.
The show is about retro futurism of the 50’s and 60’s. It’s interesting to see these wild things we though would happen and how they would look in comparison to where we ended up.
Yet another show I’m in with so many talented artists! Check it out on June 29th at Gallery Nucleus. You can find more info on the show here.

30 Day Challenge // Day 25 // Something From Mythology
Though I’m not really a fan of where the story has gone, I’ve always loved the mythology of Doctor Who. Recently the 50th Anniversary depicted a Gallifreyan painting which was a moment in time captured in a picture, literally. So, I was curious about what a Gallifreyan sculpture might look like. I imagined it as a TARDIS in a time where everything is gone and all that’s left of these relics is the box of time they contained and the shell has withered leaving only scrambled, fluctuating moments in time from when it was alive. Almost like it’s dreaming.
