“Every year in Brisbane Australia, around half a million people line the riverbanks to celebrate at Riverfire - a pyrotechnic and light display of fireworks, cannon lights and lasers.

This time-lapse was taken from various locations around South Bank and Casino Towers, and documents from when crowds first build during the day, to when they disperse after the main event.

The idea for this personal project was formed on a whim, but after a few awkward moments of silent excitement we decided, “why not?”
